October November Giveaway
Thanks to all of you who came to visit me at the Trinity High School Choir Craft Fair! I had a great time (despite being ill and staying up rather late the night before) and met some really fun people. Once again, the letter prints were a big hit. With my updated catalog (twice as many letters!) everyone was able to find something for a unique Christmas, Wedding or Baby gift, or just something for their home. Of course, we sold plenty of the other items, so check them out in my store too.
The giveaway for this month is for a free Crayon Fold Up!
The crayon fold up is much like the crayon roll, but holds 12 crayons and features an extra flap for added crayon security.
You too can be the proud owner of a Crayon Fold Up much like this one, just complete any of the steps listed below and leave a comment for EACH completed step. Be sure to include a way to contact you in at least one of your comments. There are SIX ways for you to enter the giveaway! (by the way, the crayons are not included, it's still really warm here and I don't want them to melt!)
1. Tell me a coloring story from when you were a kid. Or your favorite crayon color.
2. Favorite my store or an item in it
3. Buy an item from my store (3 entries each)
4. Sign up for my newsletter (on the left), or let me know you already signed up
5. Blog about my giveaway, including a link to this post
6. Tweet about my giveaway, including a link to this post
Giveaway ends November 27th, 2010, 11:59pm. Winner will be picked by a generator from random.org.

When I was little, I used to tell everyone that my favorite color was "magenta" because that's what the hot pink crayon was called. I guess I'm still partial to it because I'm wearing a magenta sweater today.
ReplyDeleteI used to think my Dad was the best at coloring in the world....he colored in the lines. I was easy to impress!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever color a white sheet of paper with all different colors, then color the whole thing black? You can then use a toothpick to draw designs and the pretty colors show through the black. I LOVED doing this when I was little.
ReplyDeleteI used to color really, really hard so as to make the colors really bright. And I was really anal about staying in the lines :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, I loved a brand new box of crayons - I would just look at them and admire their perfect form, lined up so nicely. I still smile about that when I open a brand new box.
ReplyDeleteI love the violet red crayon since my daughter is named Violet.

My fave crayon color are the "off" colors that only come in those gigantic packs... like a weird blue or maroony-purple. ...or silver! coriehowell at gmail
ReplyDeleteI love finding coloring books at garage sales and finishing pictures that others have started coloring. I don't know why, but I do! It's not a story from my childhood so I'll add that my favorite color is spring green.

ReplyDeleteWhen we were little my mom wanted to have a garage sale. So, my sister and I went through all of our toys and wrote "no" on all of them, to let my mom know they were not going anywhere. Now all of our keepsake toys have "no" written on them in someplace or another. :P

My favoite crayon color was cerulean. I like to color really hard and then scrape off the wax with a penny. I leaves a nice color behind.

My favorite coloring book when I was little was a Pound Puppies one...I came to find out later it was also my husband's!
ReplyDeleteI remember having a heated conversation with my grade one teacher about how there was no "skin tone" crayon - he insisted the peach was appropriate, but I thought that was dumb as clearly most of the class wasn't that colour. He wasn't impressed, lol.
