In the mean time, check out Quilts for Kids, a non-profit organization that collects fabric on it's way to the dump, makes quilt kits from them, and sends them out for volunteers around America to make. You only have to provide the batting and the money for shipping the quilt back to Quilts for Kids. They then send the quilts to kids in need around the world!
